2015 Chair Affair
I'm transforming another chair for the annual Community Warehouse table &CHAIR AFFAIR fundraiser. Below is a glimpse of the progress. The chair itself is in such great condition, the frame is solid as well as the seat base, it's just missing fabric.
I'm really hesitant to paint over the beautiful finish on this chair, I grew up visiting very similar chairs in my grandmothers house in Michigan, which is what drew me to select this chair in the first place.
I'll work at restoring the wood finish first, as it seemed to be saying "make me pretty again!"

![]() | Okay, now I know why there were upholstery nails. I tried a staple gun and the staples wouldn't go into the wood... so upholstery nails it is! | |
